ROME TOTAL WAR 2 CRASHES ON END TURN MAC
For more information: Mac App Store: 2.0.3 French, German, Russian and Czech have been added back to the in-game language selection option. Hope this helps someone.Mac App Store: 2.0.4 Bug fixes and refinements. It is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing when it happens and I've read lots of posts from people who stopped playing a game entirely because of it. But I bet dollars to fuggin doghnuts that one of the thing mentioned here will work. Do I know that this will solve every single issue of crashing during an enemy turn? Nope. Also it will get you out of your comfort zone and force you to adapt on the fly and take more risks.įull Disclaimer. It's actually kind of poetic if you think about it. Create an alliance and then commit them all to a war half way across the world. FIND A WAY TO START A WAR WITH WHOEVER IS BREAKING YOUR GAME. So I loaded a Mod that fleshed out the Norse factions and their diplomacy rules., I actually loaded about 3 different ones that affected the Varg. Super fun but not exactly a great time to go rampaging into the north. was already at war with them and had modded my campaign so that I could barely afford a stack and a half by turn 50. I had nothing even remotely close to them. This time it kept crashing no matter what i did so I tried killing a city and it worked.
I would usually take one action against a faction and that would be enough. I had to start a war but I had to occupy a city for some reason. I reloaded early save bribed the ♥♥♥♥ out of a neighbouring nation and I can't remember if i then could interact with the frreezing faction through diplomacy now that i could see them or if i got military access to go and pick a fight.Įmpire I had to get all the way to India and pick a fight with them which I was totally not ready for but ended up being really fun anyways.
Medieva 2 I couldn't see the faction because of campaign map fog. Medieval all I had to do was just attack the freezing faction. Alter their path so that the blue ball who is supposed to be red never sees a mirror. What do you do? Change the freezing factions destiny. That's great but what about us? Well I have not lost a single game or save yet and I've had this problem lots lol. Designing any system that has millions of components and thus creating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of combinations is going to have conflicts. It sucks but it's honestly not CA's fault. Essentially there is a conflict in the game rules and the game cannot move past it. It's always one faction's icon stuck at the top middle of the screen. How can I be red when this part says i'm blue. What's happening is that one of those balls is set on a course that is going to somehow cause the logic engine to break. There are literally millions of balls in play every single turn. I've gotten into Modding lately and I've found that the sheer volume of raw data that this game contains is staggering. Never really belonged to any 'gaming communites' so never really had a place to pass this on. Well I solved it back in the Total War Medieval days but I would forget every time it would happen and try all the above until I remembered what happened the first time I had the crash. Slow down enemy movement during turn.Įvery now and then one of those works. Turn off "Show Enemy Movement" during turn. Try clicking around the screen quickly during enemy turn. Unless you have a save from 50 turns ago. You can tell because the ambient sound stops, flag animations quit, it's frozen.
All of a sudden the game will lock during the enemy turn. On almost every single one I have had this happen. I have however played a metric **** load of Total War. Ok I am by no means an engineer or expert.
